It would be great to be able to sort the search results when looking for plugins inside the WP Admin panel.
Actually the results are displaying the rating and version number. The version is useful to see how mature or advanced might the plugin be.
The rating is also great to see the users feedback… nevertheless, it doesn’t say how many people voted
(unless you click install and see the info) (by the way, it could be more appropriate a “more…” link instead of “install”)
It is actually also not possible to vote (or score) a plugin while you’re on the admin panel. (Users need to be registered on the Wordpress.org site and go to the plugin page to vote, which makes it very embarrassing)
The really annoying thing, is that the admin panel doesn’t allow to sort the results by different criteria. (nr. of downloads, rating, last update date, etc…)
I’m sure the developers have these issues on the roadmap and I can’t wait to see this platform becoming even more fluid.
Cheers!
